Did everyone get the master sword with only a quarter health left? That was so awesome.

I did as well, but I had heard you needed at least 13 hearts to try it, so waited until then. How many did you have??

I think 13 too because I also had a quarter left. I did not know either. As soon as I found its locations, I started hunting down shrines until I had enough hearts attempting to pull everytime I got a new heart container

Pretty sure its exactly 13 lol. Didn't even plan it, just went straight to the Lost Woods as soon as the birds mentioned the sword might be there.

Post Re: Zelda:Breath of the Wild
I already had 21 hearts before reaching it (the Woodland Region was the last I mapped in), so the effect of dying was a bit less intense.

I think I'm going to defeat the last Divine Beast soon and then head for Hyrule Castle/Calamity Ganon sometime this week. Besides the hundreds and hundreds of Korok Seeds to be found, I'm nearing the completion of Shrines, Memories, and maybe Side Quests (I've been nearly everywhere now, so there can't be too many left).

Updated Completion List (~80 hours):

103/120 Shrines (Hebra Mountains turned out to have a lot of Shrines, so I suggest the area to anyone looking for more).
144/900 Korok Seeds
3/4 Divine Beasts
4/4 Great Fairy Fountains
11/12 Memories
58 Side Quests

I'm curious to see what the post-game will have to offer. I've avoided reading anything about it, so looking forward to it.

The post-game just reloads your last save before fighting Ganon.

I have no idea what my playtime was, but I finished the game with 16 hearts, defeating all of the divine beasts and finding all of the memories.

Is there a trick to finding the memories? This part of the game just baffles me.

Really just exploration, then look for most identifying land structures in each picture.

Also - there's an old man at many stables who will tell you a general direction to go in after he looks at your pictures.

Updated Completion List (115+ hours):

108/120 Shrines
159/900 Korok Seeds
4/4 Divine Beasts
4/4 Great Fairy Fountains
11/12 Memories
62 Side Quests

The final 12 shrines are proving difficult to locate. I want to finish them before going to Hyrule Castle (of course, there could perhaps be one or two shrines near or even inside), though, so could be another week or two before I do that.

Also, Nintendo unveiled what the first DLC expansion will include if anyone hasn't heard:

-Trial of the Sword (similar to past games' trials).
-Hard Mode (the "flying" enemies looks both awkward and amazing).
-Hero's Path (map feature used to track your last 200 hours of adventuring).
-A Travel Medallion (can be used to travel to any area on the map of your choosing).
-8 Additional Chests to find (includes gear themed after past Zelda games).

Exciting first batch of content! I'm guessing it'll be released later this month, or early June.

The Trial of the Sword will be great, the Hero's Path looks enormously convenient, the Travel Medallion should be handy (though I can't think of a particular area other than Tarrey Town I'd use it for), and most of the new gear looks great - the Korok Mask, especially, since it shakes when worn to alert you of nearby Korok Seeds.

I wonder if the abandoned Collisuem will act as the location for the Trial of the Sword

Probably not, considering it's full of enemies - including a Lynel. It's a fair enough farming location at the moment.

I think it'll be in the Korok Forest, or in the Lost Woods. Those Korok are all about those Trials.
