I cannot even deny that with absolute certainty. I have never ever done the rebound thing, so...not sure. I am definitely good enough friends with her to not wish her being the object of a rebound.

I would like to think that she is on to it because considering we plan to take dance classes and have been talking about potentially going on a city trip together in the summer that would at least mean that she still doesn't mind hanging out. Whenever I feel like I am just about to do or say something concrete I just freeze up on the inside (I'm pretty good at playing cool on the surface, though), especially when we're sitting close to each other. Which is what we basically spent the entire evening doing for five hours.

As far as rebounding goes. I think of it as anyone directly after an ex is a rebound (Sometimes people marry a rebound though.) I think the term has a lot of stigma with it, because sometimes it's a completely date or physical to bring you back to normal, but I think if you are a different type a rebound could be a blessing. Sometimes the direct change of pace is a good thing, and the rebound could be great and an even better relationship. Of course by then you don't refer to her as a rebound. It's completely up to you which category she falls into.
