Now it is coming out that staff members that work for the UN helped plan the humans attack. Again, this is one of those issues I do not side with the “Left” on. I get Israel is being over the top with their retaliation, but Palestine is no saint in this one.

I feel like Putin hasn't explained his real logic for invading Ukraine and is just a master of BS

You don't know who killed your own president 60 years ago, but zombie box just told you Putin killed Navalny in prison right in the middle of Munich conference. Does shit taste so good you can't stop eating? Grow some balls and go post something about ongoing genocide of Palestine on facebook - that would be a gesture.

Anyways, Russian Army has just taken Avdeevka - a key fortress city that ukraine and nato built for some 8 years, preparing for the upcoming war, and Russia couldn't break for 2 years. Ukraine's most heavily fortified stronghold of the entire frontline, around 50 sq km full of bunkers, tunnels and underground facilities located right near Donetsk finally collapsed. Major blow.

So people opposed to Putin killed Navalny so Putin could get framed for it?

This comment makes no sense when my Facebook is nothing but posts on the genocide in Palestine. Sorry you are not allowed to critique your government in Russia, that sucks man.

I'm pro Tucker but him blowing off Russia right before they killed Navalny and acting like grocery cart where you get a dollar back for returning it doesn't exist in the West is kind of cringe

I wouldn’t be surprised if Tucker Carlson has a Russian donor. It wouldn’t be a stretch if he does, I mean we live in a free market society and he free lances now. What’s to stop someone on his patronage giving him donations who happens to be a Russian oligarch? There is nothing illegal there.

It's no loss, in all honesty. Navalny wasn't some pro-democracy advocate whereby if he got in Russia would be so very open and free. He was also in favour of the Ukrainian invasion, he was just anti-Putin on how it is being orchestrated.

Yeah, it may not be right, but could Ukraine just cede the Russian occupied area on this map to Russia and just stop the war.
Spoiler: show

I'm not really seeing how it's worth it for Ukraine to keep fighting Russia for this land.
Russia on the other hand, I imagine Putin just wants to keep the war going till he's conquered all of Ukraine, but maybe there can be some deal that's acceptable to him too.
But I also just can see no way forward where the West wants to play with Russia again as long as Putin's in charge.

That will just ensure Putin's plan to salami slice Ukraine continues. Part 1 started in 2014, part 2 continued in 2022, and your idea of giving up what they've already stolen this time will ensure that Part 3 won't be too far in the future.

Russia won't be able to maintain the war forever. Its economy is now a wartime economy, and that yields very little growth because everything produced is destroyed, so Russia's monetary reserves will dwindle on top of becoming a useless country in terms of economic output for export. The west has more resolve and time to wait this out than Russia does, and bar something crazy happening like Trump 2.0, there's only one way this is ending...with Russia as a country being ruined.

If you're going to burn yourself to death for a political cause, doing it for the side that just did the middle east 9/11 and wants to eradicate the jews is a questionable choice

Whatever people's beliefs are, I mainly hope it's for the right reasons of thinking it through as I'm sure some of the pro Palestine people have. But if there are leftists who are 100/100 intense about Palestine cause other people on social media were 100/100 intense about it, it's not the right reasons. This type of group energy is meant for pop culture like music or tv shows cause a generation gets to all be into the same things together, like the Taylor Eras Tour or the Marvel movies era. Taking that same energy and putting it into political subjects like race and overseas wars is like mixing medicine and alcohol.

Russia continues to gain lands - about 100 sq km in Jan and 150 sq km in Feb with Avdeevka monster taken, ukraine's fortress city 10 km long and a key asset on Donbass front is now gone. 35 km heavily fortified frontline near Donetsk shrunk into 10-12 km line now slowly moving west. Ukraine already lost some 20-25% of their Summer gains of the ill-fated counter-offensive.

Lancet drones - record breaking # of documented strikes, 141 in Jan and 162 in Feb.
Number of FPV videos have become literally unmanageable, with nearly 1000 strikes per month each month.
Guided FABs become one of the most used weapons - 44 videos in Jan, 66 in Feb

Not sure if they talk about it in the US, but:
Patriot - what is it, 1-1.5 billion worth of US taxpayers’ money turned into ashes? Probably American personnel too, whatever the hell they were doing on Russian lands. Multiple systems have been destroyed, but this is the most clear strike.

Himars - here's two blown up in recent weeks.

Abrams – 4 tanks and 2 assault breachers destroyed.

Russian novelties:
- 0.5 ton guided vacuum bombs and cluster bombs used (they should thank Biden for that)
- new type of gliding bomb with reactive engine and navigation system that can be used both from from planes and land-based launchers, GLSDB analogue
- Geran drone with thermobaric warhead
- FPVs finally reach mass industrial production - aluminuim hulls instead of carbon fiber, industrial ammunition

zelensky appointed new ukrainian commander-in-chief. alexander syrsky is ethnic Russian, born in Russia, studied in Moscow, doesn’t speak Ukrainian, both his parents currently live in Russia, his adopted son (from ex-wife) Ivan Syrsky lives in Australia and publicly supports Russia.

You've been going on about that for 2 years now and there's zero signs of any of that. Continue surveillance, tovarishch.

Yeah, I'm fine. I live nearby and been in Crocus two days before on a major retail trade fair, so it came very close. Back in 2010 terrorists bombed two subway stations when I was on my way to work, so it's a long forgotten shock.

He invaded Ukraine because of the conflict, potential conflict, “new cold-war”, strategic challenge, threat, and competing interests with NATO and its members and allies. He never hid that or denied it. The rest he seems to just make up or say day by day, but seems to mean and believe.

A Ukrainian official said before the invasion that they were going to apply to join NATO. That was always unacceptable to Russia.
