So Trump has really screwed by botched the David Duke endorsement. Donald saying he didn't know who was, was very laughable. He came off a completely racist by not criticizing the Klan and David Duke. The sad thing is a good chunk of his voters are racist which is scary. I think this dooms him in the election. He can count on now 95% of the Black vote and 80% of the Hispanic vote to be against him. He can't win with those minority numbers. It isn't 1968 here. Hell, the Republican establishment is rumored to be considering running a third party candidate so they can try to keep the senate. We might be seeing the end of the Republican party here. |

I agree it just baffles me what is going on here. There has never been a candidate like him in our nation's history. I admit some point to Andrew Jackson as a comparison. However Jackson was a war hero (which Trump is not), and was Governor of Tennessee when he ran. While Jackson was a racist, swore, and had some wild ideas, he was nothing like Trump (of course that was also the early 19th century when those attitudes were more common among and all white male electorate). The only other comparison is the rise of fascist dictators in Europe like Mussolini, Franco, and Hitler. They more closely resemble Trump and some his views. |

Let me see, a person who wants to secure the borders, defend us against ISIS and terrorists in general, repair this horrid economy, try and work with Washington on both sides and confront nations like China and Mexico that have exploited NAFTA and the WTO to the tune of 550 billion+ in US trade deficits. He's the problem sure. He caused jobs and companies to flee the United States, he caused the hatred and anger the Republican Party is experiencing this cycle. Forgive me, but I am tired of the same old trashy politicians. I can't believe these voters are just flocking to Hillary when they have a visionary in Bernie Sanders to point to or Trump to point to. All I know is if Trump can survive these avalanche of tv ads the next few days and still win Florida and Ohio then there's nothing that Hillary could do to defeat him. |

Trump is a con man. I actually don't think he is a racist, but he says bigoted things to get him votes. He is playing with people, but he also reminds me much of George Wallace who did the exact same thing in 1968. |
