Dont do it USA. Stay out.

What a mess it would be if you find out in five years that the chemical attack was by the rebells and you help some wahabbit extremists to power.

Should be interesting what happens, especially since Obama said a year ago, that they better not cross that red line! (Wondering if Obama is colorblind? Since that line has been crossed!)

Let's be real. If Bashar was actually going to use chemical weapons he wouldn't be using it on such a minimal amount of people who were mostly civilians. I don't buy for One Second that Syria authorized the use of chemical weapons, but you know who Would do it. Terrorists and extreme Islamic rebels in Syria. They'd do it and then they'd film it and blame the Syrian army for it. This is just extreme propaganda imo. The solution would be to let Bashar defeat these terrorists and the region can get back to a semi normal state with the exception of the random Terrorist Bombing. Enough already.

I am fairly uncomfortable with the idea of the U.S. becoming involved. If al-Assad is removed by force and such, it will just devolve into another brutal, interminable Muslim civil war, and there could easily be an out-of-the-frying-pan-into-the-fire scenario in which a far worse group assumes control of the country.

I think Obama will think through this logically.

Obama has a chance to start or Avoid another Iraq.
Only 9% of the country supports military action.

Irrelevant.

How many percent of the military industrial complex support military action?

Obama should realize Syria is Iraq 2.00

Trust it, if Obama goes down this path he will go from being a President remember for breaking barriers and talking big (but not doing much) to something worse,

So you want him to start a war?

Post subject:  Re: Syria

Nobody wants a war. The point of Russia flexing their muscle would be to stop the US from putting their hands where it doesn't belong. Aren't you sick of us meddling with countries in the Middle East? There really isn't any point to us lobbing anything into Syria violating that country's airspace and sovereignty just because of this fake chemical attack.

I honestly have no idea what the best course of action is.

Going to "war" isn't a good idea. But if the rumors are true of chemical weapons attacks from the Syrian government, SOMETHING has to be done.

But if you do something you have to be sure to do it against the right people. It still could be the rebels or part of the rebels using that stuff.
