Re: BP and the Oil
I am a bit surprised that there is no more reaction here.......I mean this could become the biggest environment desaster since Tschernobyl.

Re: BP and the Oil
We can clean up oil, not radiation.

Re: BP and the Oil
Plus, Nigeria has had plenty of oil disasters thanks to western companies. Nobody gives a fuck about them, though, because they are poor and black. Oh, wait...

Re: BP and the Oil
It was a joke, because the Gulf Coast is poor and heavily black. I don't think this would be any different if there was a spill in the Chesapeake Bay. I'm angry, but not irrational.

Re: BP and the Oil
I have the bad feeling that the World Cup is taking BP a bit out of the line of fire from the press. As far I know its still leaking and it will do until August at least. And every week it seems to get a bit worse http://edition.cnn.com/2010/US/06/15/oi ... tml?hpt=T1

Re: BP and the Oil
A film reviewer's insightful essay on the BP oil spill situation... BP's tree fell on my lawn by Roger Ebert. ( And is it just me, or does Ebert's readers' comments section always seem to be populated by some of the most informed and thoughtful people on the web?)

Re: BP and the Oil
We should plug the hole with BP's safety section.

Re: BP and the Oil
It seems they closed it. Was about damn time. Though I have a bad feeling about those two drill holes they want to make.
So that was about a 100 days. And with the oil you could have filled 13 million car tanks.
