He's been trying to pass himself off as a black man in this campaign - - I've often heard references to the race between him and Hilary as the the black guy vs. the white woman - - but as it turns out, he's actually a white guy!!!

Perhaps some might argue that since his father, Barack Obama Sr. was a black man from Kenya, that he is justified in calling himself black - - but of course... that is my own exact argument for calling him white.

Let's stop this mutually agreed upon subterfuge and admit it...

Although you're technically right, I'd still consider him a black man. Just looking at his skin color, I can't think of anybody who would consider him white. He is looked on as black and has been treated as black his whole life, for good or for worse.

Well, of course, you've caught me out - - my ultimate point is that he is biracial - - though I prefer the term heterocultural (as opposed to the majority of Americans who are homoculturals)...

But playing down his heterocultural heritage is a big, big political advantage, while playing up his blackness at this unique point in history is a huge advantage in this particular political race - - and no successful politician wins without a few white lies.

Even more importantly, there is no such thing as race, at least not biologically speaking - - it is a social construct that remains useful in dividing and conquering the human species...
