I believe if Obama were to begin to smear campaign against Hillary Clinton,he could effectivly kill her. We all know the republicans will do it if she wins and he doesn't, so why not.

Some ideas...

TV AD 1

1996-clip of an interview where Hillary says "I think Nafta's working very well, it's doing our countrymen a great service, and will continue to do so". Cut to PITTSBURG, 2000. We're at an office where a man learns he's been fired because his jobs sent overseas.1999 clip of Hillary saying Nafta is good 6 months later we see him losing his home. 2007 clip of Hillary saying she never supported answers. End with "Hillary Clinton claims to be in the business for solutions, but are they the right ones? She claims to have 35 years of expirience. Is it 35 years of expirience in making bad decisions? Or is it the kind of expirience you want in the White House"

TV AD 2

George Bush announce we are going to war with Iraq. "In 2003, despite the disapproval of members within her own party, Hillary Clinton voted to go to war with Iraq." Footage of Obama speaking out against the war in 2002. "Hillary Clinton claims to have 35 years of expirience, but it seems more like its 35 years of expirience in making bad decisions".

Thats a start.

He....almost can't. Because his entire campaign is only the opposite of that! It's why he hasn't been able to knock her out, and he's had at least three opportunities.

It isn't that cant, he just hasn't. To be honest, forthe sake of his arty he needs to.It would be better that he does now than John McCain does it in the GE.

He defiently can; making Hillarybad/hypocrital/polarizing/bitchy isnt very hard. What killed him yesterday was that they are SO close and many cant chose, and when they went to vote theychose Hillary for her EXPIRIENCE.

Nows the time-he has to finish her off by attacking it and showing what her expirience really is, and thats either 8 years total in the senate with 1 major bad decision or 35 years full of them.

Yes, he should.

As it would get Loyal to vote for him.

He should if he can keep it on track with his message. Something like...

"Hillary Clinton has close ties to lobbyists and lobbyists have helped fund her campaign." [cut to clip of Hillary speech last year where she says lobbyists are important and there's nothing wrong with them]. "As a former corporate lawyer this was just more of the same for her. Vote for something different, vote for change."

I know that sucks, I just mean that type of thing. Only not sucky.

You know what he should do, host a contest for ads and use the best ones. I bet he'd get thousands of entries and some good ones.

All he needs to do is go on the Colbert Report and ask for advice.

If I remember correctly, John Kerry tried to "take the high road" in his campaign against Bush in 04. Then everyone complained about Democrats being pussies who couldn't help but lose elections over crappy campaigns.

Maybe it's time to fight fire with fire.

I wouldn't say "smear", but he could turn the heat up a little bit.

LOL, a Republican that hates smear and attack ads? Now that is just rich. Jay, you voted for GWB, the KING of misleading attacks and smears. Both of his presidential campaigns are legendary for the amount of negative mudslinging, "anything to get elected" type of tactics that he and Rove employed.

I don't think Obama necessarily needs to go all that negative. I am happy that he is finally doing what I've been doing for weeks, hell months...he's finally asking her to give some specifics on her experience. The media has given her a free pass on this. If you actually research her "35 years of experience" it turns out that around 20 of them are a crock of shit. No one has questioned her on it up until yesterday when Obama finally did. I am confident that if she gets the nomination, McCain would constantly call her out on it so it's about time Obama did something that McCain would do to her since she has been effectively using everything that the Republicans would use against Obama.

One thing that I don't think he will mention, but I'm confident the Republicans will if she's the nominee, is the $20 million buyout of Bill's contract with the Emir of Dubai. Meanwhile, Bill and Hillary are still the Emir's personal financial advisers. A business deal gone bad but they're still helping him? Could be something there or perhaps not. No one knows for sure. Dick Morris (admittedly this douche bag is the most biased MFer out there against the Clintons) says that he thinks Dubai is trying to buy their way into power. He actually makes a fairly good argument based on all the corporations they have bought into in this country, as well as trying to buy our ports a while back. He thinks that when the port deal fell through, Dubai realized that they needed political power to get things done and he speculates that they're trying to use the Clintons. I have no doubt the Republicans will use this against her. If anything, Dick Morris would be on Fox News every night talking about it. Even if it's a crock of shit and the $20 million buyout was truly just a deal gone bad, the Republicans will still spin it and make her look bad because of it. I don't think Obama will touch it though.
