America will never elect a female president. But the Dems will keep trying it as they will never be able to admit that the rest of the country isn't on the same page regarding gender. Trump is a pretty shit candidate for president. He had four years and everybody saw the chaos, yet put him against a female and he wins ... easily. Put him agains Biden and he didn't win. If you don't see the trend here then you're wilfully ignoring it.

Biden was doing worse in the polls before he dropped out, so you’re missing the point. Harris didn’t even do very well in the democratic primaries against Biden and the others; she was at like 4%-5%; she was never such a strong candidate; she was just vice president because Biden thought he wasn’t being racist or sexist to only consider a black woman. Hillary Clinton was continuing her husband’s dynasty. The fact that no female candidate has contested that office after building their own campaign, doesn’t change the trend. Trump is not, and does not represent, a long term trend.

The liberal agenda, platform, and future is essentially now permanently and totally defeated besides feminism and feminism aligned causes.

Personally, strategically, and perhaps cynically or perversely (to be generous to my own reputation from a “humanist” perspective) I could not have asked or wanted for a better outcome. Good riddance, I say. My worst enemy was always the person others thought, or believed, I was, am, or I should, would, or could be.

Also, I really did not want Musk to go to prison for whatever the hell he was doing for Putin with Starlink. That I think his shitposting is distasteful would pale in comparison to that strategic disaster. I suppose a government efficiency department is certainly preferable to the alternative. Also any democrat economic policy was essentially a no go, and ended up being unrealistic anyway. You think it’s unfair? So what? You’re trying to treat the symptoms anyway without any real responsibility, accountability, fairness, realism, rationality, logic, or reason anyway. But that was Trump’s, Musk’s, or maybe dark Bezos’s fight since they are the ones invested and would have had to primarily and directly deal with the cost. As Musk said “the stakes (were) super-high” (for him and his friends). But the Democrats’ opportunity is gone; no deal.

The whole Russia drama lacked substance, but they were onto something. Donald Trump was the ultimate Trojan Horse of history.

Now he’s essentially a parasite feeding on a dead carcass. Of the country he hoped to make great again actually.

One more flip in PA for the republicans in the senate.

Likely Nevada will go for the democrats. Arizona will probably tighten a bit but not enough for lake to win so the final count is likely 53-47.

Yes, Harris wasn't a great candidate, but ultimately the election just comes down to some swing voters and states and I think they looked at the issues more than the person. And this election tell us they choose Immigration > Abortion and Economy > Progressiveness.
Dems can blame a whole lot of things, but I think the fact of the matter is that their policies are currently just not appealing to the majority.

I mean it is a vibes thing. The current Republican platform on the economy is to introduce tariffs which will lead to higher costs

Were there the tariffs in his first term? I don’t remember hearing about them this much last time.

I’ve heard the best way for America to be rid of Trumpism is for America to not be protected from his horrible decisions. So if this leads people to realize that Trump is in fact the same guy who inherited millions of dollars and tank it all in six different bankruptcies, then we might need some hardship. The worry is that we won’t have people like Pence in the way of Trump trying to steal an election in 2028 like he did in 2020. The hope is that he is just a dumbass who wants to party and stay out of jail, the worry is that he will create a trend that leads to the downfall of our democracy

Not even worth my time: you're so pathetically desperate to protect your fragile egos and morality that you plea for validation for no reason but your completely pathetic circular assumptions that depend entirely on mutual respect, that is limited, and without it, you have nothing. Congratulations.

I would suggest to move this; but you need to realize that you are mistaken if you disagree with me on any serious matter, and you need to avoid wasting my time. I’m not interested in your stupid opinions or likewise popularity.

Good thing I am anuerotypical. Too bad the vast majority of Trump voters are neurotypical boot lickers

For a year where republicans won the presidency decisively this has gotta be a record poor performance down ballot. Proves my theory that Kamala was the problem not Democrats as a whole.

If Lake grew out her hair since 2022 she would've won this.

She does have the Karen cut

But in any other year where we won the presidency so decisively we would’ve won 57 senate seats and 230-240 house seats.
