If Huckabee would drop out, Romney'd have a great chance at winning in a lot of states. He's close now even with Huck alongside him.

Already 2 million votes have been casted in CA. This is truly the most exciting political season I've ever experienced.

I think California is gonna be the most interesting state.

Some polls show Clinton with a double digit lead, while others show Obama with an equally clear lead. Exciting!

I just saw a new poll from Reuters/C-Span/Zogby that has Obama with a 13 point lead over Clinton in California.

Obama- 49%
Clinton- 36%

If he can pull off the miracle and actually win Cal, which he was down by over 20 points just a few weeks ago, that would be huge.

Interestingly in my area, there are a lot of Obama supporters - but they're immigrants (non-citizens, so they can't vote). But the Valley has pretty much skewed Republican so I don't know how big the Democratic turnout in this area would be.

Oh no! That's really unfortunate!

I had a bit of an experience with the ballot. Apparently I'm a registered absentee voter in Southern California, which would make sense considering I registered when I moved in with my brother and sister. Butttt I was never mailed an absentee ballot. And I was given an Alameda County (Berkeley/Oakland for all you non-Cali people) voter's card. So voting was a bit of a mess - luckily it worked out - I just used a provisional ballot.

No wait to vote.... the other places near campus were quite crowded, but for whatever reason my assigned spot was quite empty.

I voted Obama.

I've got a test tomorrow, but I'll be glued to the TV while studying.

I'm pumped.

Yeah, Huckabee won West Virginia with 52% of the vote. Romney led after the first round, but most of the McCain support went to Huckabee the second round to keep the delegates away from Romney.

It's kinda weird; Obama and Clinton are so close on pretty much most issues that we basically have the same candidate running. The Democrats really can't lose. Ever since that civilized debate, I've become more optimistic.

I'm still rootin' for Romney.

So DANGIT West Virginia, way to throw your delegates away. *shakes fist*

That's the best post I've read in awhile! It's true too. It's a nice counterpoint to the Alien vs. Predator 2 poster I saw four years ago where someone had scratched out the title and written in Bush and Kerry..then wrote "Whoever wins, we lose." :D

Disclaimer: I actually liked Kerry. But the poster was pretty damn funny.
