...untile the [strike] tag is introduced!

Just kidding, of course, but it would be a nice addition to the formatting options.

I don't even know what it does, could you explain?

Author:  Anonymous [ Mon May 30, 2005 12:41 pm ]
Post subject:

Basically, the text [strike]inside the strike tag[/strike] would be crossed with a bar line.

Say I wanted to say something like: Sean is a [strike]retard[/strike] mentally-challenged individual. The strike tag would prove very helpful :)

That would be cool.

Scarlett Johannson is a [strike]clean[/strike] dirty trashbag hoe.

:)

I remember that from my web design class.

Strike, day two.

Did I mention it's a hunger strike? Yup, I haven't had anything to eat since yesterday.

Y'all are making me feel old.

You can do this without a trike out tag. There is an old usenet convention for this.

^H indicates delete the last charcter
^W indicates delete the last word

So in Krem's original example:

Sean is a retard^H^H^H^H^H^H mentally-challenged individual

or

Sean is a retard^W mentally-challenged individual

as always, HTH
