But I infer from his next comment that he restrained because he thought about what's 'appropriate' and 'inappropriate', as he acknowledges he's trying to skirt a perma-ban. If that's appropriate, what has come from these last rounds of discipline? In essence, mau can make colorful - and anti-semetic - comments...provided they aren't as colorful and anti-semetic as they were in '10 or '11. For the record, this doesn't offend me... but, what kind of conversations are we having exactly with our 'disciplined' members? Let's leave it at this: It's all context. I read Mau's comment above in the same way Torri does, a hateful and unnecessary comment. Personal attacks aren't allowed, yet Mau is taking a personal attribute and using it in a hateful way. Mau, please consider this a final warning, review our personal attack policy and then make sure what you're saying won't be construed as a violation. I'm really not concerned if Torri is upset or not, you're violating the rules, yet again, and your leash is about at an end. _________________

It's like the way Torri started this thread by saying that Mau can get away with anything apparently. Ever thought that mods might have simply not seen the whole thing? I, for my part, didn't. It is not our obligation to check every single thread for violation of rules. If someone is attacked, they should bring the issue to us, by PM or by the reporting function. IF the reported issue warrants action on our part, action will be taken. As far as I know, neither the "jew" comment nor any comments about sexuality have been reported by either of you. As I said, we are not omnipresent.
