It's turning me on, actually. I love watching a woman suck a man off....and it's hard to tell if that's a man or a woman giving head right there.

I don't believe the forum has a rule against artistic renderings of nudity.

You consider Michelangelo's David to be pornography? My, my.

Oh you're just hilarious!

Posts like the one above have resulted in the forum being banned from using google adsense. Because of that, the forum doesn't generate enough revenue to pay for itself, and may end up shut down.

But hey, you're hilarious, keep up the good work.

Freedom of speech means you have the right - - nay, the duty to tell your mother to fuck off on Christmas morning.

There's principle and then there's practicality.

Eagle has been a very generous host to us all.

David, grow up.

Seriously. If you're going to post shit that may eventually lead to the forums demise, go fuck yourself.

David has asked me to relay a message:

All right, this is the last time I will use poor Michael as my messenger pigeon, but I need to comment on this. I halfheartedly apologize for posting the naughty drawing, but let's cool down. It was a cartoon style rendering of a sex act from Wikipedia, one of the most visited websites on the Internet. I did not dive into the depths of an Eastern-bloc pornography den to find the most disturbing and filthy image I could.

Also let me just say this: I and a select few others spent a lot of time trying to create content (reviews, film and music news, lists and polls, etc.) to help establish the main page of World of KJ as a proper pop-culture website. I did this while busy with college because I enjoy and respect this community, and it was not my apathy which brought any progress to a screeching halt. So save any, "Oh, David, you awful asshole, you haven't done right by poor Eagle" melodrama because it lands with a resounding thud. Go fuck myself, huh?

But see, I did all that too. Contributing content. And I still do, when I've got time. In fact, I'm pretty sure that aside from the website owners maybe, I have invested more time and effort in this site than anyone else. Yet I don't get into trouble. And if I did, I'd have to stand for that. I have been banned before once, long ago and I did not complain. I don't think that being a contributor gives a free pass to anyone.

I also don't get why it is so hard to understand that it is not just Karl's wish to stop any images appearing here. The way I see it, he clearly stated that similar stuff led to not being able to use Google Adsense. Are those images harmless? Hell, yes. Wikipedia actually has worse stuff (note: I dare anyone to look up autofellatio on Wikipedia). However, if Google has an issue with those images, then take your problem up to Google and not to Karl.

I think this all raises a few very strong, important points that need to be further discussed and examined because, for me, I would much rather see this forum and main site grow and evolve and allow all of us to exist in a place where it's possible to omg i just wikipedia'd autofellatio

Main site contributors, people who have given so much to the site, yet cause trouble on the forum are not easy to discipline. I have so much respect for David, for the writing he did; terrific work at a time we were putting a lot of effort into the main site. His work, and the writing of many others, I appreciate so much. I only wish we could have given contributors a broader audience.

It's not an enviable task to have to play judge and jury to a forum, let alone to a forum with the past this one has. It gets even harder with main site contributors. Joe was the worst, a poster who did a lot of work for the main site, and yet constantly had issues on the forum.

Rules are rules, the man said, and the enforcement of them is not always pleasant, but it must be done, and it must be done well! With clarity of purpose and glorious will!
