trixster has been banned for 1 week and stripped of moderation powers in the Everyone's a Critic forum. I respect trixster a great deal and he's done a lot for this forum, but I can't have those entrusted with moderation powers abusing them. |

Karl could have sold this website for good money in 2009 but this is the latest example why you did not. I pity you Karl I really do, you could have made a good buck. I'll assume you only use it for programming idea's and the like, which is ok its your website but again its sad. if you had managed this website properly you would have had a consistent income. Eh if you use it for testing cool beans. thanks for the forum. |

Gulli, I run a website "properly" and "consistently" (gotta guess what you mean there, but I think I do), and trust me, there is a long long way between that and something that gives you a consistent income.

The closest we ever came to running this place properly was when Arsi, Loyal and I were all involved together. Even then, there were things we did incorrectly, and a true foundation of a website was never built. A few years ago I tried to create a site with user curated content, but the attempt was flawed for a variety of reasons, and as you can see, just never made it. Now the site sits abused. I tell myself that one day I'll re-visit it, but I haven't found anything of value to work toward. As to trixster, I'm not certain why he's mad at me, but I'd be happy to discuss it with him, shoot me a PM? |
