Post subject:  Disciplined Members
Recent update to the forums rules will effect all banned members. Here is a high level overview of the new policy, followed by the status of disciplined members. Should you want clarification on any other members, please let me know.

This thread will attempt to clarify where all members stand in the new process. Banned members can contact me at kjtocool at google's email client.

Algren
- Banned February 6th, 2014.
- Available to return: February 13th, 2014
- Currently at 1st Offense
- Status: Algren will be unbanned automatically on February 13th.

Argos
- Banned July 24, 2012.
- Available to return: August 7th, 2012
- Currently at 2nd Offense
- Status: Argos will be unbanned automatically on August 7th.

Barrabas
- Banned October 24th, 2014.
- Available to return: October 31st, 2014
- Currently at 1st Offense
- Status: Barrabas will be unbanned automatically on October 31st.

BKB aka STEVE RODGERS
- Banned in February
- Available to return in March 2012
- Currently at 3rd Offense
- Status: Should BKB wish to return, he can email me and we can discuss his reinstatement and how his behavior needs to change.

David
- Banned September 26th, 2012.
- Available to return: October 3rd 2013
- Currently at 1st Offense
- Status: David will be unbanned automatically on October 3rd.

Grill aka Goldie aka ironmanbarry aka Jacko
- Banned in 2011.
- Available to return: Never
- Currently BANNED
- Status: Grill has worn out his welcome and will not be allowed to return. Should you notice any duplicate accounts you believe are his, please report the posts.

Harry Warden
- Banned April 18, 2013.
- Available to return: Never
- Currently BANNED
- Status: Harry Warden (Joe) has been banned for personal attacks, he was given a change to post within the rules and proved incapable. He will not return.

Korrgan
- Banned in August
- Available to return in March 2012
- Currently at 4th Offense
- Status: Should Korrgan wish to return, she can email me and we can discuss her reinstatement and what changes would need to be made.

LeSamuraiDeL'Ombre
- Banned August 30th, 2012.
- Available to return: September 27th, 2012
- Currently at 3rd Offense
- Status: LeSamuraiDeL'Ombre will be unbanned automatically on September 27th.

Mau
- Banned July 24th, 2012.
- Available to return: May 2nd 2013
- Currently at 3rd Offense
- Status: Mau will be unbanned automatically on May 2nd.

Mr. R
- Banned July 19th, 2014.
- Available to return: July 26th, 2014
- Currently at 1st Offense
- Status: Mr. R will be unbanned automatically on July 26th.

trixster
- Banned February 15th, 2014.
- Available to return: February 22nd, 2014
- Currently at 1st Offense
- Status: trixster will be unbanned automatically on February 22nd.

Heinrich Himmler
- Banned November 20th, 2012
- Available to return: December 5th, 2012
- Currently at 2nd Offense
- Status: User will be unbanned automatically on December 5th.

Johannes
- Banned November 21st, 2012
- Available to return: Never
- Currently Banned
- Status: User has been permanently banned as a double account.


Warnings
The following members have warnings. Once I deem warnings are not working, these members will fall into the the offense diagram above:

Chippy - (July 24, Comments in poor taste)
Price - (July 24, Comments in poor taste)
Snack - (July 24, Trolling, insensitive comments)

I slotted BKB at a 3rd offense because he wasn't banned for a single post or a major violation, rather a general behavior. That behavior won't be tolerated going forward, but I don't feel we did a good enough job articulating where the line was prior to his banning. BKB's behavior has been tolerated for years, it will not be anymore.

He will not be unbanned in March, rather he will be eligible to be unbanned. He will need to email me, state his desire to be unbanned, and then we will have a conversation about what that will mean. Should I believe he wishes to change and adhere to the new rules, he will be allowed to return. If he returns and posts as he did, he will be banned as a 4th offense user.

I like this process. But BKB will be just BKB. if folks want him need to keep him in leash. May be ask him to desist from posting about TDKR until july. Then hopefully he will shut up once it opens. Also ban him from any TDKR threads as he does not add anything to it.

Good decision to perma ban Grill as well.

I just saw this and showed Korrgan, and she told me that her last time being banned was in 2009. And since it's been more than a year since her last ban, wouldn't one level of offense have fallen off? Meaning her ban would have only been for 4 weeks?

You need to be more descriptive of what an "offense" is, since in this MS Paint graph it's quite clear it's only being banned. Is it or isn't it? Because if it is as this graph says it is, Korrgan is on her third offense. Not her 4th.

Think of an offense as a violation of the rules.

Please note that this system is new, and thus can't be retroactively applied to the past. I looked at the three primary banned members, and slotted each into the chart where I felt reasonable based on the reason they were banned. It was a judgement call, as is this process. Nothing here is set in stone, rather it's a guideline, meant to provide users with more visibility to the process.

If you take a look at the notes, you'll see it's also mentioned that depending on the severity of an offense, a user can skip levels.

I see, writing new rules to suit your current situation and not grandfathering others into the new system. Sounds like BOM.

Has anyone actually been banned for that long over trolling? I mean yeah she's a troll and a bitch, but I mean come on. She isn't Joe, who made death threats against himself and others and posed a literal potential lawsuit against you I guess if he did kill himself over the website, as people thought was possible. And she was never as bad as Maverick, who was given countless and countless chances. Korr showed actual change unlike Joe, Mav, BKB and any other trolls when she quit being so mean against Libs, which was one of the main points of drama at the peak of this community's popularity which was around the time I joined, and tbh has even defended Libs toward me. That's more improvement than the people who have been given multiple chances to haveshowed. And before she quit doing it, she actually did something productive for the community, The Inferno game. Not many here can say they've actually done something for this place beyond posting.

She's done bad things and should have been banned for a while, and yes she did go in on Chipmunky, but I don't think she has ever been as bad as it seems trixster is trying to say she is, and she wasn't heading towards a six month ban with a possibility of return, no guarantee. She shouldn't have been banned for six months.

Korr was quite.....ummmm....abrasive and sometimes insulting but she undeniably brought a lot to the forums. Her hosting of The Inferno was a big commitment and done very well.

I fully trust the admins/mods etc, especially since they have all been around way longer than I have, but I just wanted to throw in my two cents.

Heinrich Himmler has been banned for a week due to a message he relayed on behalf of another member. There is nothing wrong with relaying messages, but you assume responsibility for that message, and in this instance, the message was a personal attack that violated our policy.
