Why Not Just Close Up Shop Here? (now with a poll)
As we all know by now, it wasn't "Mav's fault" like I tried to get people to understand here. Mav was actually loved by many at BOM before this place decided to villianize him in their infinite wisdom. It's not Grill's fault, either! The fall of KJ can be directly attributed to the inner circle that poisoned it from the getgo. Sad, but all too true.
I tried my best to get some people to look in the mirror and do some self inventory before it ever got this bad, but it was easier to villianize me and keep on keeping on with the selfrighteous attitudes.
Many people left or rarely post. In fact, the biggest contributers to this board's content, like myself, found that it clearly wasn't worth sticking around for. Now when I look in on things, it's always the same. Multiple people bickering, nothing exciting being posted beyond basic stuff in the other forums, and members leaving left and right for friendlier places. I tried hard to stop it back when I was an active member, but was told that I was the problem, not KJ. How's that looking now?
Why not just shut it down and let everyone move on? This place seems to do nothing but spread misery. Would anybody disagree?

I doubt that...otherwise you'd stop coming then..so whatever it is, interest or morbid fascination..it keeps bringing you back here, thus answering your own question.

I usually stop by when I get a PM notification in my e-mail. I actually hadn't been here in a long time before my old friend Bell PMd me here. Remember what I said about the PTB never being able to admit when they are wrong? Why not just admit that it sucks here instead of trying to convince me that I come here because it has appeal.

What's so hard to understand about the following:
I. come. here. because. I. like. coming. here. Are you really trying to convince me that I don't like it here? Heh

Heh No, I'm trying to convince you that you are in the minority, and I'm trying to convince you that you won't like it here more and more as it keeps going downhill. Doesn't seem like pacifying a few people for the short term is really worth keeping it going. Just my opinion.

Heh That's all well and good - - but if you ever did stop liking coming here or if KJ did close up shop - - I would follow you to whatever movie forum you moved on to. Or, if you ever saw fit to start up your own movie forum, I would be most happy to contribute my regular reviews of current films to that community. You are one of the few remaining KJer's who is level-headed, intelligent, and a regular positive contributor. As much as I am displeased with the present, I do look forward to the future...

Hmm, I come here mainly for box office discussion, so that's a negatory.
