I just think its really strange that Argos has had such a horrible track record with the staff here, and I'm not just saying this, but there's a list of previous admins/mods, some still working on the new team, who have said the same thing over and over again about him.

But what's the point in waiting for Argos to fuck up and delete 100 threads or one really important thread or reveal someone's personal info, when we know he'll do it eventually. This is actually the third time in as many days that Argos has referred to me as a child molester (or having AIDS). I obviously cant have those types of comments floating around right now, considering what's going on in my professional life and being vetted online. I removed the previous comments when I saw them but I'll let this one stand for a bit so you can see how mature your new moderator is.

I think the fact that there is even the idea of restrictions and probationary periods for Argos runs counter to the purpose of having him on your team in the first place.

You guys are going to do whatever you feel is right and just. But there's also going to be a lot of users uncomfortable with the idea of him running around with any power beyond that of a normal user.

Someone could compile a list of the bannings and reason for bannings for Argos but it would take a while because its spans years.

The odd thing is that his bannings aren't like other bannings here, say fights between users and such. Argos' bannings were almost without exception about destructive activity in regards to the forum itself. That's the troubling part.

Yet the forum is still there and no destruction has ever been noticed. Interesting...
