While I enjoyed my vacation in Banistan I would like to clarify a few things first. This post is more concerned with posts made in the “getluv 1 week ban†topic. The post is long but I have bolded a few peoples names so they can see what I have to say to them. Christian while Roid did seek input (Nebs of all people) in regards to comments regarding my banning I think the only opinion that matters concerning bannings/warnings based on comments made in the Water Cooler is yours. Simply because you do read most if not all comments in the Water Cooler and therefore you understand the friendships and dramas in the Cooler. I find it funny that Roid says he does not open any threads made by Michael unless a comment is flagged. This already defeats the purpose of this person making a decision. I think you do a great job and I don’t think it is entirely necessary to have another mod on the job in the Water Cooler. It interesting to see that the mod in charge of the Water Cooler isn’t given major input into such decisions like this one. Like I could not know that the Cinemania is in the middle of a world war and flag a comment from Ladiesman because he called Lecter an A-hole for calling Eastwood’s latest project a piece of crap. I dunno I feel sorry for the third party who reported my post. Munky: in future I would appreciate if you spoke for yourself and not others. I don’t attack everyone. I make stabs at people all the time but you have to put them into context, ie how well I know these people, and what have these people have done to deserve them and if I’m being serious. Which for you, it may be a challenge. French men: someone who also likes to generalise. But at least with me you will get the comments to your face. I mean it’s interesting you come here once in every blue moon to discuss the latest “interesting†aspect of your life and therefore you do not know the ins and outs of all the friendships and dramas concerning KJ. In future, keep doing the only thing you do best, walk around shirtless and make youtube videos about it. I hope you were warned for the thread you made, that’s baiting. Naughty, naughty. Loyal: What newfound popularity do you speak of? It seems your attitude towards me has changed ever since I started dissing the Wall-E club. A lot of the “jabs†I make at you are just jabs of love and I’m worried that you don’t get some of the “jabs†I throw your way. Cuz I love you and you do things that I don’t like, eg get tattoos. I don’t go around KJ doing what I want. If that’s true I would of told Lecter that I printed every page of his BO thread and wiped my ass with it. It’s funny how you ASSUME I’m expecting leniency from the mods. If you, and the other people that agreed with your post, think that I was expecting that then some of you are more stupid than I thought. That’s the only reality check I gained from this experience. Also getluv isn’t a persona. I am him. Its just that, getluv comes into contact with the very people I make fun of. Video gamers, people who wear batman costumes, people who pretend to be 33yos, etc. They make for a good Saturday night laugh over a Stella with friends. Roid, Sam, Tony and to anyone else who compared getting banned off a internet message board to crime/punishment: that has to be one of the worst comparisons/analogies I have ever heard in my whole life. Not only are you debasing the justice system but you forget even criminals are given due process, could you please show me what adversarial rights that I had given to me. So please be careful in future, crimes such as speeding and rape are not the same as calling someone “annoying†or “sperm donors†on an internet message board of even IRL. Rod: All tim was doing was seeking clarification and was trying to understand why Roid made such a rash decision. Not even I fully understand what part of my post was apparently offensive to this 3rd party when all I was doing was responding to Michael. (Roid, could you please PM me and finish clarifying what was so wrong with the post in the first place) Anyway Rod, I doubt you even read or even care about all the drama that happened previously anyway. It’s ok you have a right to your opinion. Opinions can’t be wrong. Assumptions can be though. Like Box and Michael must have been at it for at least a good three or four months without a warning because Christian chose to deal directly with both parties and Christian only got the gig a month ago. 2 days into mine and I get quashed by a 3rd party. Go figure. And my comments are just as laced with profanity as theirs. Roid: from your PMs and from what I can understand, that people who make negative comments when responding to someone else’s negative comments (without coarse language, but threatening is ok) are therefore exempt from all bannings and warnings. Sounds ridiculous to me. If someone was to state how they cut their hand when holding a piece of broken glass, then that person is a fucking idiot. If someone is going to deliberately go “getluv got higher than Dolce. This poll now sucksâ€Â. What do you think he was expecting? This was the post that led to the unfortunate events, something you didn’t pick up on until after I told you because you don’t open threads created by Michael. In future I think Christian’s opinion is the only one the matters in regards to issues arising from the Water Cooler unless you (and the rest of the Mod squad) make a more conceited effort to engage in the water cooler before making a “OMG UR BANNED†like decision. Also, your comments rebuttle in the “getluv responds†thread still leaves me with a bad taste. Because I did PM Christian a day after I reported Argos’ comment to which he replied “still waiting for a decision from Roidâ€Â. I doubt there are 400 threads going on at once in the mod forum for you to pass this as “I didn’t see itâ€Â. Again, consistency (and a whole bunch of things) seems to be lacking here. I will not be using the “Report†button in future, and instead PMing it to you instead. This seems to be the only way something will be dealt with. Also a warning is something you get before an impending event usually with enough time to prevent or avoid this event from happening. The 5th one wasn’t a warning. Maybe you should call them strikes rather than warnings. My comments towards IT have been “off-colourâ€Â, I’m not going to take them back because at the time he deserved those comments. In future I will not respond or acknowledge to anything he has to say. Because over this past week when I came by for a visit, it just surprised me how much time on keystrokes I wasted on someone who believes favouritism and respect are fundamental aspects of democracy, posting 140 posts a day with sentences no longer than two words and a smiley, and that coming 2nd is something to be proud of. Clearly the education system left someone behind. I will be taking him OFF ignore so I can see all his comments in future so I can help mods do their job. Time to move on. The next drama due in late October. My bannings seem to be cyclical. Late January, late April, late July. So see you then. -luv PS - lol at the 40 people that said “its only a weekâ€Â.
