Not to be mean or anything but isn't kind of disturbing? Anyone? And how come do those ruLes on obscenity do not appLy to avatars and sigs. most importantLy in a situation when one poster who has a disturbing avatar/sig a posts a Lot. It doesn't make any sense.

Actually, those rules are even more "enforced" when in signatures/avatars, not sure where you got the impression it is other way around. Quote: 2. The explicit nature of any image posted up will be determined by the moderators. In regards to avatars and signatures though, the above rules do not apply. While a sexual or violent image residing somewhere in a thread is viewed only a few times, an avatar/signature is viewed every time a member posts. Moderators may ask users to take down avatars if it seems inappropriate for viewing in a public environment. |

Heh, we are reading the same thing differently. That was more for that "impicit nudity" part. But it is a bit clumsily writtern. In actuallity (is that a word?), we moderate sigs/avatars even more. What may pass as a picture in forums might not for an avatar or signature. |

I had the exact same avatar at one point and it was removed almost instantly. Why does he get a PM first? I do think people are way too sensitive about avatars. There is a way to block avatars you don't like. People shouldn't be censored from having scenes from mainstream films, which Scanners is. People who don't like it and complain sound like prudes. |
