I posted a few pics from halo and then was asked to stop because getluv went to the admins over it. It's not that big of a deal, but given much of the stuff in the water cooler, I hardly think this is by any comparison a case of spamming. |

It's not. Unless they were posted off topically for no reason. Which, I suspect they were, because, cmon...Halo hasn't been on topic since 2003. |

getluv brought it to notice and i agreed. it was multiple threads over which the stuff was being posted. you were asked to stop. |

Topics often cross threads. I was just trying to communicate the same joke/point with each image. That I felt as if the forum is being overrun by 'The Flood'. I was replying to things said to me. There are much harsher things often said in the forum. And repeatedly. I'm not asking for a change in what was done, but I wanted to say that. |

We don't disagree DP, there are far worse transgressions, we just felt the images were excessive and thus asked you to stop. No big deal. If the manner in which you were asked was inappropriate, please PM me what was sent to you, and I'll deal with it from there. |

Dp. same messages go to other people at time. you all have been here for a long time and we like to keep such messages private by sending in a polite request. no more there was no mention of chopping any fingers if i remember this correctly. |

I won't speak for any of the admins, but I didn't read anything that should result in a lock (I don't think there was a single, truely, offensive post or anything), and everyone seemed okay with the actual topic, no? That Zac Efron thread I created ended up going quite off topic, so I just started another one since bABA said it was fine to do so. |
