The rules for spamming were quite clear Argos.

Which rules?

Argos,

You have made it clear that you made concious decisions not to follow the rules of the forum, that your free will is more important than the cage we have tried to impose onto you.

Get's point is that you are now in a position where it becomes your duty to uphold those same rules, rules you still to this moment refuse to accept as valid. I think a user has every right to question why another user is being placed into a position of power when they so brazenly discount what they are meant to uphold.

I have told Get in private that I will not now, nor ever, step in to remove or modify the moderators an adminstrator puts in place (unless they are deleting/editing/modifying things to the detriment of the forum). That is torrino's job now, and this decision is his. However, you could very easily put all this to rest by explaining that, regardless how you FEEL about the rules, while you are a moderator you will abide by them and do your best to uphold them as torrino wishes.

Can you do that?

Which rules are you talking about, and where did I say I refuse to accept them?

I agree that a MOD shouldn't be removed by you. That should be the ADM's job. But hopefully you will be watching all further ADM's to make sure that they are doing the job exepcted. And that if any are ever really bad and don't improve, they can and will be removed.

If you can't agree to abide by and uphold the rules the administrator creates for the forum, you shouldn't be a moderator.

Eagle, you gave up rights to deciding who is or is not a mod.

I'm just saying.

The only way he can have a decision regarding the mods is if he de-admin's Torri.

And that would just bring hellfire onto worldofkj.com.

I don't think Eagle is implying that he is going to be de-modding anyone. He's just saying to Argos that if he doesn't plan on following the rules, he shouldn't be moderator. Which is fair.

I asked Argos the same question and he said he's going to be a responsible mod. And none of the other mods have made any objection to him being a moderator. Argos even said that he would let himself be replaced as a mod if torrino, myself and the other mods felt that his being a mod was causing too many problems. So, it's not like he's taking this position as a joke. Plus, throughout his campaign for admin, he took it very seriously before he was removed. He laid out a sensible plan and set of rules for his administration. Argos seems dedicated, and I can't speak for torrino (in response to getluv asking us why we think he's an okay moderator), but I feel that he can handle this position and should be given a shot.

And, obviously, if there are any problems during his time as mod, they can be addressed and actions can be taken. So why not wait and see how he does as a moderator before criticizing the decision and his ability as a mod.

This whole election thing was seriously the worst experience ever. And I've had a penis in my ass. KJ has become miserable the last few weeks. Why did you submit us to this, Eagle?

I'm sorry, but that doesn't answer your question.

And I can't be fucked giving Argos a chance because he's an idiot who's i've treated the same way he's treated me. And now you want me to show respect, how about fuck off no.

He, and his other mods, thought Argos' ideas were in line with theirs. So they are giving him a chance to prove himself.

No one really gives a shit about what you think chippy.

Argos' ideas are not the same as theirs corpse. he's wanted anarchy on these boards since the 1st (of 12 times) he was banned. I've lost all respect for a lot of people on here.

And is Argos really educated enough to have such a job. He still hasn't taken responsibility for his past actions. He's also very unclear about the rules. Obviously the rule's definition of SPAM obviously has deeper meanings, for which he thinks he did not break.

And zingy, this still doesn't stop the moderating elections from being a complete farce. If your own admin can't meet the own criteria for the new moderators then how does this give this administration any credibility at all. I think this site is turning to more of a joke than it ever was.
