A small fantasy press company called Double Dragon has decided to publish my book; I will give more details when I have them!

Hey, you gotta start somewhere. It's a small company, but then again, Eragon was even self-published in its first edition and look where that ended up...

Mike,

Don't forget what I said. If you can get me two copies, I can get a review up on mania.com! Also, if you can get 5 copies, I can run a contest for you and get you even more publicity.

And there is always an Interview if you want to do one ...

Mania is a pretty big site, normally gets about 800,000 to 1,000,000 unique visit a month.

KJ

Thanks Eagle!

Of course, this doesn't mean the book will be out quickly. It still has to go through the editing process, and then they have to commission an artist to do the cover, and so on.

It's not quite as cool as being published by some big-name publisher who will get it into Barnes and Nobles, but hey, it's a start.

Hey, so long as it is published while I am still acting editor and content manager of Mania.com then I'll be sure to get it reviewed and as much exposure as possible.

Our reviews all link to Amazon so readers can buy the product if interested ... assuming it gets on Amazon, which with small publishers may be iffy. But regardless, you know what they say, any press is good press!

Heck, if you really want ... you could do two interviews ... one after editing is finished, and another when the book is released. The first interview could link to the first two chapters or something similar. Really whatever ideas you have, just let me know and if I can manage it, I will.

Thanks! I will need all the publicity I can get. Yes, it will be listed at Amazon.com (next to my other books!). I'll let you know when we get to the stage that the time is right for publicity. I'll also be asking for advice on where else to send copies for reviews and so on.

I really appreciate it!

The editing is almost finished. I could send the first few chapters or something for an interview now...

The book is available in e-book formats for downloading now. The paperback edition should be available in a week.

It's called "Arch Enemies" and it's the first book on the "new releases" page (as of today, 7/16/07)

Ill wait for the paperback then give it a look.

I would rather stab my brain than read an entire book on my computer.

What are the chances it pops up in my local library? I'd like to read it., but I don't know if I'll have the money to buy it, or (:gulp:) the interest to read it if I do. Especially if I'd be forced to order it online.

Slim to none, unless you tell the library to buy it and they do so.

Mike, I just read your bio and you've kicked some ass in your life so far! Although I kept finding it harder to believe you became an attorney (of all things!) the more I read about your life before, throughout high school and college. Certainly you're extremely talented in many different fields.
