I hope some of you weren't foaming at the mouth for a HELLBOY 2 in the immediate future because according to babilicous Selma Blair (who played the firestarting Liz Sherman), the film probably won't go into production until 2007. Here's what she had to say: "I just did The Fog with Revolution, and I was trying to pick their brains for when Hellboy will go…Apparently [director] Guillermo [del Toro]'s supposed to hand in a script any minute. I know there will probably be a long preproduction, so we'll probably start maybe January 2007." I don't know, that kinda sounds like she's not too sure whether it'll happen at all, which would suck cause HELLBOY was a pretty damn good flick. Don't call it Hellboy 2. Give it like Hellboy: Reborn or something (keep in mind I never saw the first). Then, at least most who don't remember it might see it. |
