I'd love and adventure in the 60s, or even the 70s. They can really do something different. And a perfect way to close down the series while possibly even giving way to a reboot. Let a new writer make it their own.

Re: Indy 5 in July 2019 I'm game. I didn't hate Indy 4 and there's no reason this series can't continue on like James Bond. Just replace Indy already.

Re: Indy 5 in July 2019 Lucas had more to do with the story issues. I mean even his final script was a medley of Darabont's, Nathanson, Boam, and Stuart. Spielberg likes him. I think this is the 6th film of his he's worked on.
I think he's written more than enough solid stuff (Spider-Man, Panic Room, The Paper, Mission Impossible, Carlito's Way, Jurassic Park, etc.) Hopefully he is guided better than Spielberg and being bogged down.
