Any reason why WW84 is in November and not summer? And why put it so its second weekend is up against Bond?

Probably to distance itself from Captain Marvel.

The joker film is nonsense. I mean... come on. This DCEU is no U. No nothing. I just can’t.

WW84 should have been marked for the same release as the first. The Nov release is a mistake. Why are they determined to F things up over there. Can I just get a SS2 or a MOS2 or that dumb Batman film. How about a Aquaman trailer to brighten my spirits

An Aquaman trailer will only dampen your spirits. ;)

I’m excited to see it. I liked the little bit in JL. One of the few bits I did enjoy. I’m ready for the riding sea horses dragons and alligators .

When Dark Shape said it was like a Marvel film, did he mean Ang Lee's Hulk? :P

I was gonna say it looks like a mix of the Green Lantern aliens and some Guardians of the Galaxy colors.

Marvel has gone down similar design avenues in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor films. It is nothing too bizarre.

They did. They also had the luxury to do so thanks to the audience. The charisma of the Guardians cast also helped. DC doesn’t have that luxury.

DC comic book movies really are fascinating in almost how they always mess it up. WB hold the reigns in way too much. It's only when the filmmaker gets more control that they work. STM, BR, TDK, WW. It's been 40 years now and they always fuck it up. And now that they are always trying to compete with Marvel is their worst hurdle. It's obvious Venom will face off against Spidey in the third film, and Joker is response to now having to introduce a new Batman.

So the screenshot coupled with the new posters are giving me Hellboy vibes now. And it makes a lot of sense that Wan would draw from Del Toro as his primary influence. I am 100% for watching that type of movie, but I don't see it connecting with the Marvel-casuals that WB so desperately craves.

So DCU will have the shows, movies and comics? Not a bad deal at all.

To me, the biggest selling point is the access to comics. Some of the other comics apps are just a pain in the ass.

But I'd think this means the Disney streaming service will be pretty pricey.

$74.99 annually ($6.24 per month) is a great value for everything u get IMO.

Is the Gambit film still happening? At this point, I see that getting scraped. The last two Fox X-men films will be Dark Phoenix and New Mutants. Of course Deadpool will continue on.

I doubt it! But there hasn't been anything official as far as killing it. So...
