I don't have a preference, I just like good movies.
France happens to produce a lot of good movies recently, though.

Re: Favorite World cinema other than America and Britain?
I am most well versed in the films of Australia and New Zealand, France, and Hong Kong.
The Australian New Wave, as exemplified by Gillian Armstrong, Ted Kotcheff, George Miller, Peter Weir, etc., is one of my favorite cinematic eras/movements.

Lecter, who is your favorite living German director?

By far the shittiest output of all big countries is from Germany. It's unbelievable...especially looking at Spain and France and seeing what they are capable of.

I only see movies from the US and UK. From Mexico i rarely see them, there so damn generic and stupid, i think like 1 or maybe 2 are good to great. I cant choose a country, i love Horror flicks from Eastern and south eastern Asia.

My knowledge of Mexican cinema is fairly limited, though I love most of what I have seen, including Sólo con tu pareja, Cronos, and Miss Bala.

I used to watched them quite often but i pretty much hated every single one, so i just stopped. Good ones i can mention that ive actually seen... Amorres Perros, Pan's Labyrinth, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Amarte Duele, El Crimen Del Padre Amaro, Nicotina and Sexo, Pudor y Lagrimas.

Yeah, Mexican movies aren't great.
Amorres Perros and Pan's Labyrinth are good, though Y Tu Mama Tambien and We Are What We Are were just ok.
