I'm saying 75-80. On the higher end of the range, though.

It'll do 70-80, but it'll deserve 100

Superman Returns - 72 Batman Begins - 70 The Avengers - 69 The Amazing Spider-Man - 66
I think the middle two being between this two discredits the website...

I disagree. Because the Avengers was a very hollow movie.

Re: Predict The Dark Knight Rises' opening-day Metacritic sc
Hmm, still a little better than I expcted. For a third movie....very impressive.
BTW, I still can't get over, how mind-blowingly raving the reviews for Deathly Hallows Part 2 were last summer...because lookimg back, it sure as hell doesn't seem to have made THAT much of a lasting impression on audiences. I think it had like 16 100-scores at MC...

Re: Predict The Dark Knight Rises' opening-day Metacritic sc
I believe many critics were reviewing the franchise--its consistency, its ensemble cast, its growth and flow--when they reviewed Deathly Hallows 2.

But the jump in the critics is immense from any other installment, especially over the immideate predecessor which was one of the worst-reviewed HP films.
