Yeah, someone that gets nervous in interviews is definitely not someone that I'd label as "cool", let alone the coolest leading man of the last 50 years. His characters may be awesome, but that's not what the thread is asking.

I feel as though the body of work is extremely important on whether an actor is considered cool or not, as well as their personal lives. If George Clooney made the films that were similar to Pauley Shore, he would cease to be cool. Their onscreen persona is even more important than off screen. Eastwood, Nicholson, McQueen, and Ford, Pacino, Depp all hate interviews and all seem awkward at time, but they are still cool for what they've done. John Travolta, Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson, and others have had serious issues that have tainted the cool personas they once had.

Well I'm not surprised that you're rooting for Ford.

Davids Umfragethreads erinnern mich sehr an die von Büroklammer-Snake in seinen besten Jahren, Guybrush X McMurphy.

Are you sure you couldn't think of anyone else for these slots?

From 2000-2009, you think David Carradine was the coolest leading man besides Daniel Craig?

I'd argue that Carradine wasn't even a leading man in that decade, let alone the coolest. How about George Clooney? Brad Pitt? There are actually tons more deserving. Clive Owen?

Yeah..and Waltz is only there because of your love for him. He's done one film in that 10's decade that anyone knows about (and that could be referred to as "cool" in any way). Ryan Gosling, for one, is way cooler than Waltz.

I've not seen enough films with Ryan Gosling to comment on him.

And yeah I only picked Carradine because of Kill Bill. He is kinda the American Samurai in that film.

On Waltz, even though Inglourious Basterds is from 2009, I decided to include that in my 10s list, which would otherwise have Daniel Craig in the number one slot.

The entire Ocean's Eleven cast is cooler than David Carradine in the 00s.

Ooh, Brad Pitt, good point, totally forgot about him ironically.

But i have only seen Ocean's Thirteen from that series, and I was none too impressed.
