Let's put the deadline forward, 10/21 is late enough I'd say.

Well, the 1st of November is a Tuesday so that's why I did it a little later than last time, because even though the game starts on the 1st, the films aren't released until the 4th.

But if the goal is to make the deadline 10 days or so before the start of the game, I'll change it to 10/23.

stuffp said "forward", meaning sooner. The 23rd October would be pushing it back. I agree with stuffp, let's bring it forward. I mean, lots of the films in the final game already have scores.

October 23rd would have been moving it forward from the original date of 10/28.

It is sooner. Originally I had it on the 28th.

I thought you already had it at 21st October and was campaigning for even earlier.

Groucho, why wasn't Fences, Patriots Day or Silence included? They are important enough films and they have no reviews yet. Instead, we have shit like Lion and Jackie, which have tons of reviews already. And All We Had, which I cannot even find!

I say, let's include them still, shouldn't be a problem to predict a few more for the ones who predicted already. So we can throw out Lion and Jackie then...I didn't check the schedule though. It seems we want to keep about 5 films per weekend?

Lion and Jackie were just a couple that I remembered. There are many more with loads of reviews and scores that will not change much. I know Groucho wants to keep it as five per weekend, but I really don't see why, especially in this final game of the year where movies have scores at any time, not just the weekend of release.

Sometimes when there are more than 5 films per weekend that are possible, I just go randomly -- your choices may vary from mine. With that said, I don't mind adding a few more in if everyone wants to. That's why I asked for suggestions, you know.

Yeah, and that's why I gave suggestions. But I still can't understand why you would add All We Had and not Fences or Silence. I mean, you do follow films, don't you? Surely you know which films are more interesting for us to follow. Katie Holmes' directorial debut that already has some reviews, or a Denzel Washington Oscar contender with no reviews, or a Martin Scorsese Oscar contender with no reviews?

Let's add a few more of these prominent films in anyway...doesn't hurt.

Katie Holmes is a nobody. Who the hell cares about a film she made. If it wasn't in this game, I bet nobody would have even heard of it! Whereas Silence and Fences are both on many people's radars!

Sort it out, Groucho! ;)

I looked up Fences and Silence and agree they should be there, but I don't remember seeing them when I was putting this list together. Could it be that they were added recently?

Nah. They've always been there. And how about Patriots Day? A Mark Wahlberg film about the Boston marathon bombing, which is also probably contending for awards.

Why didn't you guys suggest these a week or so ago when I asked for suggestions?

Anyway, get to predicting. Only 5 days left

Well, I first brought it up four days ago. That's just three days shy of a week. And I was more concerned with the deadline than the list. Then when I did my predictions, I noticed some big films not listed.

I resent my list with the additional films. It was just three, right? or did you add more?
