Fixed!

Everyone double check.

My prediction for The Night Before is the highest at 70 when everyone else has it < 60. Now on second thought, the movie's Christmas theme is not going to help it with the critics.

Oh, Chippy not playing makes the game less exciting.

If Chippy predicts today he can still play but there are a lot of films that already have RT scores

Jay, love it another game on the way. Hopefully I make better use of my high position early in the game this time.

Considering our predictions for those films with scores are similar (except for maybe two films), it should not hurt his scores much if he predicts now.

Looks like he missed his chance.

The Peanuts Movie gets a glowing Variety review. Finger's crossed for a 93%-er!

Great call on The Peanuts Movie, stuffp. Glad you're on top instead of Sparrow.

Yeah, I guessed good on that one, thanks. Although the reason I did, I didn't watch a trailer, and I just don't feel like liking that film. And just imagined critics would feel similar.
So this time (again), I let a lot of ratings be determined by my personal preference, so not sure how this game is going to bode for me. Hopefully well.

Well, it's still doing well. In the 60s is still fresh.

True, I didn't want to go too low..and who knows at this might it could still go in the high 70's too. I'm just happy I was on the leader board at least once this game.

Yeah.

I think Spectre will crawl back up a bit.

And I still hope that Peanuts will drop down again, but for now good call from Sparrow.

Don't think Spectre will increase much now as a lot of people will be comparing it with Skyfall and its not living up to that.

Also Groucho is the closest on Peanuts ;)

In size, Groucho is closest to peanuts, you're right. ;)

That is easily proven wrong, but I can't upload those kinds of photos here.

Remember: Italian.

Because many of the films already had a score, and the fact that most films are awards contenders in some way, this game is going to be incredibly close, I feel. I mean, look at it already. The scores are pretty close and any one film could change anything (or not actually because we all predicted very similarly).

Hunger Games caught me, and all of us by surprise. I still have no doubt that the film is actually that good. Part 1 was just a so-so film, and suddenly just because part 2 is better, critics are blown away. The rating is going to drop for sure..probably mid-80's...it won't matter for our game...but still critics love this so far, wow.

100% does not mean critics are blown away. It just means that every review so far is not negative.

I was referring to their actual comments about it. Which really come forth from part 1 being largely considered a disappointment, as was Catching Fire IMO.

"Might be the most thrillingly downbeat blockbuster in recent memory, a film that starts out pitiless and goes downhill from there."

"In a crowded field, winds up being one of the year's most satisfying popcorn movies."

"Counters the meager helpings offered by most teen-driven entertainment with one of the heartiest character arcs ever afforded a young female protagonist"

"An emotional gut-punch of a film that's a fitting send-off for one of modern-day cinema's great heroines."

"This is by far the darkest, most violent entry in the series, but also the best."

"An incredibly emotional film on many levels and a more than worthy conclusion to the series."

Etc.

And it just got another 2 positive reviews, and is 12 for 12 now. Again it will drop I'm sure, but a large part of critics are really loving this.

MJ2's average rating is still not above 8 which is kinda why I think this will eventually settle in the 80's score

Hmm...Peanuts opened with like 67, now at 84. Trumbo opened with like 81 now at 71...those are some reasonable big rises and drops..
