This could be fun, I suppose. But most likely it will be crap. It's a Chinese production, and they really have no idea how to make great films, and Jackie has been quite bad in recent years. Not to mention the Monkey King-esque style. I just cannot believe how Jackie keeps saying he is too busy to shoot for an Expendables movie, then he produces shit like this. This will do NOTHING for his career. I suppose he prefers to be a big fish in a small pond, rather than mixing with the giants of Stallone, Arnie, Statham etc.

Starring alongside Brody and Cusack make Jackie look like a superstar again. :funny:

I watched this...it wasn't good, it wasn't that bad...just a bit bad. I liked the ancientness of it.

This was fucking awful. Chan's really dropped the ball in recent years. We all know why, but it is such a shame. His films make big money in China, and so he'll continue to make crap for them. I loved his career when China wasn't a big market. When he focused on his Japanese, Korean, and domestic fans. Those were the years. Then he tried to make it in America. That wasn't too bad, but still a world away from true "Jackie Chan films". Now he's pushing product to the Chinese market, and it's absolutely crap. It could not be worse. Ah well, at least he made tons of Hong Kong films for me to enjoy over and over again.
