It is no different in the States. Evil Dead '13 premieres on Starz on Friday, and it came out in theatres in April. Once upon a time, it would be coming out on home video around this time, but it hit DVD and Blu-ray in July. Such windows are just collapsing. |

I think it's still slightly faster than in the USA/UK. I mean, isn't Starz a premium channel? Even if it's not, Drug War was played on normal TV and it was in August, not October (like Evil Dead). The same happened with last years' Cold War. It was on terrestrial TV within a few months. |
