Do we not have a thread on this anywhere yet? I ran a search and found some rt tracing, but that's about it.
I saw it a few weeks ago and have to admit that it was fantastic. Allen at his funnest and lightest. He always does best when he's working with what he knows best...destroying ideas of romantic love.
I have to admit everything from pacing, acting, dialogue, characterization, cinematography, was great. Nice and light but with serious undertones (as always) and many segements that made me laugh out loud. Mostly the sections having to do with the threesome.
Scarlett has actually come into her own in Allen movies. Either she's being cast in roles more appropriate for her, or she's gotten used to Allen's style after working with him in several movies, because I thought she did a much better job here than she did in Match Point.
