Wonder Woman for Best Picture nomination? It would be a perfect fit narrative wise |

11? Is that normal? I don't keep up but that WW nod was just charity to the comics again. The Big Sick got some life for BP. |

For those triggered by Wonder Woman, Deadpool was nominated last year, probably for its white male stuff. |

Shape of Water wins. Del Toro has to be big favorite at DGA as PGA and DGA has lined up all but one year since the expanded field and he's headed for a Best Director win. This year is starting to feel like where Birdman went from "solid top 4 and lots of nominations, but nobody thinks it wins" to suddenly taking over. Though politics could change that this year. |

The Shape of Water feels so random as a BP frontrunner. Was anyone even considering it as a serious contender a couple months ago? I'm still rooting for a surprise Dunkirk upset. |

I'm still feeling Three Billboards for Best Picture. The Shape of Water is fantasy, no way it could win best picture. |
