Call Me By Your Name getting an Ensemble would have been a shock honestly. It only had an outside chance. What is shocking is Hammer and Stuhlbarg missing. Though not as shocking as The Post getting NOTHING! Holy crap. |

They definitely saw The Post. There are reports of many screenings and screeners. They just snubbed it. |

I am not surprised The Post got nothing. Hanks and Streep both are frequent nominees. Awards fatigue has set in for these veteran winners. The same could hapipen to Spielberg. But Spielberg is more tied to the picture. If voters really like The Post, I don't see Spielberg getting snubbed. |

I didn’t get a chance to see it because of football, but did Morgan Freeman wear his hat on stage? Liveftime achievement award, he’s old, one of his hands doesn’t work, and just doesn’t give a fuck. And this is probably dumb of me, but I still don’t see TBOE,M winning best picture. Of course it was going to win tonight. It’s the most actory movie out there. |
