The next Get Out? Spike Lee (never been nominated for Picture or Director) has a movie called Black Klansman coming out, with Blumhouse and Peele as producers. |

Yeah, only Spike Lee would accuse the academy of racism for not nominating Spike Lee. And it would potentially take votes away from Black Panther. So not happening unless its just an undeniable type of film. Seeing as how Spike’s last good movie, Inside Man, was 12 years ago, its hard to see him getting to that level. |

There is 0% chance Black Panther wins. Even a nomination is a long shot. The Oscars have nominated horror films before so there was precedent there, but they have NEVER nominated a superhero film for Picture. |

I heard the story about this film and it sounds very interesting. I think this can be nominated for pick/director if good reviews follow. |
