Four years later: Lincoln should have won BP/BD

I'm not saying Lincoln is the best film ever but it just felt right as a Best Picture winner and the right time to give him his 2nd best picture win and 3rd Director win as a career achievement like when Streep finally got 3rd Oscar. He was in his finest form of the last few decades and making a film about passing a law fun was an achievement. Argo was a quality thriller but it didn't need to be Best Picture. Looper, Argo, Zero Dark Thirty, Life of Pi, are the few A- that year I think. Perhaps I would choose ZDT as best of the year right now, but Argo is just as deserved. I would put Looper and Life of Pi just behind them. Lincoln and Cloud Atlas are a B+

So if we're including all films for 2012, then Skyfall should have won Best Picture. It is an A. Life of Pi was my fourth best film of the year. Also an A. Looper was 6th with an A-.
