The few scenes they've released so far are darker, but there is some humor in there (more subtle) The HFP has gone out of their way many times to accommodate a movie or actor. It's not comedy or musical, it's more every non serious oscar contender. |

He did very well, but the film magnified his performance more so than his performance being "Oscar worthy". The film is just so well made. I hope it gets some attention come award season, but let's be honest, it will be forgotten by then. It might, as always, get noticed at the MTV Movie Awards, or perhaps a nod at the Globes. But the Oscars ain't recognizing it at all. |

He'll get a globe nomination now. The film is certainly funny enough that it can still make that at least worthy. But honestly even at this point, he'd make a strong case even for drama. But he has a comedy or musical one locked up IMO. I'm hoping this gets drama though. I could honestly see Stewart, Jackman, picture, director, and screenplay right now. |
