If we're talking about movies that actually did well nomination wise but still "lost," it's Captain Phillips with the Greengrass and Hanks snubs. Other than that, I dunno. Inside Llewyn Davis, maybe? |

Just read that Hanks hasn't had a nomination in 13 years. This was the year to do it. I think next time he has a strong role, the Academy will realize their mistake and he'll be the frontrunner. ![]() |
