Post So NOW what's your most-anticipated Oscar-bait film?
Now that we're approaching December and we've gotten to know most films a little better than we did about a month ago, what are your most-anticipated Oscar-bait flicks as of now? As for me, the only significant change for me is a major drop for Alexander and a big boost for Hotel Rwanda and A Very Long Engagement. Also a boost for The Phatom of the Opera, but perhaps that's just curiosity.

Include those already released that you have yet to see, I suppose.

1. Closer
2. Kinsey
3. A Very Long Engagement
4. Hotel Rwanda
5. Sideways
6. Finding Neverland
7. The Sea Inside
8. The Phantom of the Opera
9. The Aviator
10. Vera Drake

Oscar-bait would rule out....
Ocean's 12
Meet the Fockers
Series of Unfortunate Events
In Good Company

which are among what I also want to see.

And of course, checking out Garden State on DVD!

What a boring year for oscar contenders. The only ones I would look forward to would be Sideways, Woodsman, Finding Neverland and Alexander(doubtful about its oscar nominations). Everything else on the list looks rather boring including Closer, Kinsey, Aviator and Spanglish. And thanks you can call me Homer Simpson because I find the movies I just mentioned in my latter sentence as boring
