The trailer isn't great (http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/in_good_company/). However, Paul Weitz got robbed with About a Boy (well, he didn't have much of a chance, lol) and Scarlett Johnasson was snubbed of nominations last year (Girl with a Pearl Earring and Lost in Translation). It also stars Topher Grace (if the Actor nom. wasn't so competitive this year, he'd have a chance) and Dennis Quaid (not in a 1000 years...).

Universal will mainly be campaigning Ray in all categories, though.

I really don't think they will even campaign this movie. It's a Christmas/holiday-feel good-awkward situation film, not an Oscar potnetial movie!

I do want to see it though and have to diagree and say I liked the trailer!

It's being release limited on the 29th, so, if it's a Holiday-Feel-Good movie, it would have expanded by the 25th! ;)

It's going wide in mid-January, so, I do think that the release date indicates an ATTEMPT at awards.
