Re: Batman Begins
In summary of my previous post, I think BB and MoS are VERY similar in quality, much more so than people think.

Except that BATMAN BEGINS is excellent and MAN OF STEEL is not. But other than that, sure.

Seriously, it has made me reconsider grades for so many action movies... I've now bumped my ROTS grade down to a 9.8, I originally had it at a 10...This movie was AWESOME in so many ways!
Oh, and I don't know if I'm weird or not, but did anybody else laugh histarically at the scene where Bruce tells Alfred to "tell them that joke you know"... I couldn't stop laughing... Game, set, match

No, where I also gave a rave review to SR. You can bring up old posts all you like. As I currently sit, BB is slightly above MoS in "greatness", but I enjoyed/liked MoS more.

Um, sure. Yes. We all lie to ourselves about films because we're so invested in them before they come out.

Re: Batman Begins
The casting of Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine were quietly two of the most critical pieces in the entire TDK trilogy. Their mere presence makes everything more legitimate.

When Batman barks "CRANEPOISONONEDHERWITHAPSYCHOTROPICHALUCINAGEN,APANICINDUCINGTOXIN!!!!!!", and Gordon is all " Of course he did! That slimy Bastard!", I knew this movie was a classic.

Re: Batman Begins
Batman Begins and Man of Steel are both good, great even...it's the sequels that are the disappointments. Which is why I fear for the next installment of Supes.
