A father/daughter team scam their way across America. The duo works well selling people bibles they didn't order and entertaining us watching at home. My favorite parts of the movie were the stubborn faces they get when they have a showdown / stare-off and luckily this happens a bunch of times in the movie. It's a question of whether a child is better off with their real parents even if the parents are not exactly suitable guardians. This movie says yes. Current society would probably say no. I don't know enough about raising kids to weigh in.

I'll give this movie a 7.5. Loses a little gas near the end but it still works.
