The performances are good and visually this is well-done but it doesn't really go anywhere plotwise and ends up being more frustrating and dull than entertaining. C

"Tell them not to look out the window."

They're astronauts. They're scientists. And yet not one of them is ever curious about looking out the window to see where the nukes have gone off and what's left of earth after their one and only time looking out the window. We're blowing each other up? Oh well, time to get to work. Then again if they ever did look out the window there wouldn't be much of a movie because it's pretty bleak. They'd all probably just sit there and kill themselves which is kind of what happens anyways. And again you wouldn't have a story, but for scientists, it's amazing how quickly they turn on one another. They never really stop and think things through once they get the initial orders. It's immediately they have to kill one another on behalf of their nations. And looking at earth, is taking the ISS really a top priority? Do both nations know that cure to radiation sickness (what a coincidence!) is on board? Is that why we suddenly lost our minds and blew each other up? We can afford to do it because we might have the cure to radiation sickness? Who knows?

I also saw on Reddit that a bunch of people liked the zero gravity fight. That might have been the dumbest part of the movie. Chris Messina disappears for a large chunk of the movie (we know he's not dead because we never see his body fly away from the ISS) and then dies immediately after coming back. Stupid.

Also, what's with the giant knife in the kitchen? Why is there a real giant knife on board? The guy using it even says they've got plastic ones. They cuttin' some meats? Slicin' some briskets?
