Post Re: Fanny Lye Deliver'd
This is a well intentioned and nicely made movie with enough tension on a very small budget with a limited scope. I felt that the oppressed wife was not very well handled but the two couples and concepts of sexuality and eventually the freedom from it are done nicely. It does shift tonally between middle and final act but things gel well towards the end. Maxine Peake is great in here while I felt Charles Dance didn't have much to do here.
