Re: Foxtrot
The film tries to bring out the absurdities of life. A son is dead because a series of accidental mistakes and decisions leads him to where he is killed. A heightened security checkpoint leads to high tensions that lead to a man-made fatal accident. The film spells out the chaotic and random aspects of fate.
The story is told in non-chronological order and scenes are not always fully contextualized. Together with the slow pace, audiences are forced to pause and think and piece together the story. It is an interesting film.
