I actually thought this was decent and I had no idea it even existed until only a couple of days ago. I'm always down for a Manson film though, and although it falls short overall I can at least appreciate the effort. I might have even liked it a bit more than the Zac Effron Bundy movie too even though that movie looked better overall in terms of production value this to me felt more authentic. The biggest problem I had with it is just that it's not very memorable and the ending falls flat, but the performances are surprisingly really solid especially an unrecognizable Matt Smith as Manson. I never imagined that guy would be such a good fit to play that kind of role, but he pulled it off IMO.
