Post Re: Avengers: Endgame
Yea I think that's probably what they meant, and Peggy was looking good in her late 40s or early 50s in 1970

Although if Captain America went back to 1940s and he's now in 2023, he doesn't seem nearly old enough by the time he talks to them again. Noting that Cap also aged 11 years from the start of the first movie to Endgame and 3 years in the First Avenger, he would be at least 30 which means he can't survive 80 years, or if he did he would have to be more of a walking corpse than he was at the end of Endgame. It's also unclear whether he could make another trip to the 40s without anyone knowing after he put all the stones back. So I will say he stayed in the 70s after putting the last stone back and just married 50 year old Peggy

Post Re: Avengers: Endgame
I definitely watched both in a row, with about an hour break in between.

Knowing what happens makes Infinity War better.

Infinity War doesn’t make Emdgame better though, because Endgame is already perfect and cannot be any better. Well unless they digitally add Goose in at some point- where’s Lucas at?

I watched it on Vudu since Disney doesn’t release their movies in 4K on itunes. Vudu is kinda weird, but my goodness that 4K was glorious. Very much worth the extra $5 and extra hassle.

The start of the final battle is pure cinematic bliss but what follows is not. This movie does stick the landing and resolves things perfectly. Additionally it expands the past movies and brings in old characters in the final goodbye in a great send-off of the past 10 years of this arc. Avengers Assemble is still amazing and the resolution of Tony and Steve are great here. It does have pacing issues and timeline gaps but you don't necessarily feel those while watching the movie. I now feel Infinity War is slightly better than this.

Watching this again so soon does not do it any favor. I now appreciate Infinity War more plus the final battle gets worse every time but the setup and the fight till everyone gathers around is brilliant.
