It stars Jennifer Lopez, Vanessa Hudgens, Leah Remini, Annaleigh Ashford, Dan Bucatinsky, Freddie Stroma, Milo Ventimiglia, Treat Williams and Larry Miller, and follows an under-achieving 40-year-old woman who gets a second chance at a corporate career after creating a fake resume. The film was released in the United States on December 21, 2018.

Re: Second Act This was delightful. I enjoy a good romantic comedy and it was nice to see Jennifer Lopez in this kind of role again. It's quite funny and crowd-pleasing and there was a twist I didn't see coming about 40 minutes in. Kudos to the ads for not ruining it. I hope it has staying power at the Box Office.

Re: Second Act It was cute. The plot was rather stupid and predictable, but it's a harmless watch. Jennifer Lopez is lovely here. I found her friends insufferable though, every time they were onscreen the movie ground to a halt.

Re: Second Act I saw this in a screening a few months back and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I might have to check it out again on DVD to see if they made any significant changes.
I'd give it a B overall though. I remember Charlene Yi being a highlight in this.
