Re: Tremors 6: A Cold Day in Hell
I've always liked this franchise overall. The first is awesome, the 2nd is a great DTV sequel. A major step up from 4 and 5. Once Jamie Kennedy doesn't do schtick for the first 20 minutes there is some real fun ingenuity in there, and some nice chemistry between some of the cast. Some fun deaths and some really stupid characters get killed.
Don't let the setting peak your interest. It's really only the opening scene, and the rest is pretty much a warm heatwave that makes the setting look unsurprisingly like South Africa, but with colder color temperatures.
I really hope that this is the next franchise to get a proper Theatrical Reboot. And I'd still love to see Bacon's Pilot to the series. I thought it looked pretty fun, and would have love to see the scenes him and Ward filmed together. Since the third film, all have been pretty SCI FY original movies for the most part, so I'd love to see a solid 15 million budget pumped back into it. Even if that means all new actors.

Is it better than the previous one? I thought that was horrible.

Much better than the last two. Still doesn't come close to the first 2. Burt never should of become the focal point of the series. But this is probably his best solo outing since the third.
